Sablelight Monoliths Sablelight Monoliths – the massive stone constructs arrayed around a silver pool that reflects the full moon at midnight. These monoliths are the statues of kings long gone – older that time, they say, older than humanity perhaps, carved in the likeness of elves. Some still clutch great glowing purple crystals that focus the moonlight into the pool in their midst, around which the High Priestesses and her Senate sleep when they wish to dream of the Tamerlain and receive her orders. Sometimes the Tamerlain appears while they are awake, floating above the water and speaking from beyond the void. It is a sacred place, and only Priestesses may enter - priests have been known to be gelded or killed for coming here, and the the plebeian clan wouldn't even dream of it.
